Campus Director, Regional and County Commissioners launch Huduma Namba Registaration at University of Nairobi, Kisumu

The Campus Director Dr. Vincent Machuki in collaboration with the Regional Commissioner Mr. Kianda and the County Commissioner Mrs. Pauline Dola launched the registration for the National Integrated Identity Management System (NIIMS) commonly referred to as Huduma Namba at University of Nairobi, Kisumu.

While launching the exercise, the Regional Commissioner gave a commitment that his office and that of the County Commissioner will ensure that the staff doing the registration will carry on the exercise until all the students and staff are registered. He promised to offer all the necessary support, including having additional registration staff to efficiently manage the traffic.

On his part, the Campus Director thanked both the Regional and County Commissioners for responding very quickly on short notice by sending the registration clerks to the campus. During the launch, they were flanked by the Assistant Dean of Students and other university staff. Students and staff turned up to register.
