KISUMU CAMPUS GENDER MAINSTREAMING COMMITTEE CONDUCTS AWARENESS ON UNIVERSITY OF NAIROBI GENDER POLICY FOR STAFF AND STUDENTS On 17th June 2021, the Kisumu Campus Gender Mainstreaming Committee under the leadership of the Chairperson, Dr. Scholastica Omondi who also doubles as the Associate Dean, School of Law, Kisumu in collaboration with the National Gender and Equality Commission, Kisumu and Legal Resources Centre carried out a sensitization workshop for the staff and students of the campus on the University of Nairobi Gender Policy.

The University of Nairobi Kisumu Campus on 19th March, 2025 took a significant step towards environmental conservation by participating in the ongoing National Tree Planting Campaign, an ambitious initiative aimed at restoring Kenya’s forest cover and combating climate change.
Joined faithful of PCEA Kit Mikayi Church, Kisumu Parish on 16.3.2025 in planting 20 Grevillea Robusta trees in a Thanksgiving service presided over by the Moderator of the 24th General Assembly, Rt. Rev. Thegu Mutahi.
